The most recent release from Deadly Premonition creator Hidetaka ‘Swery65′ Suehiro is to receive a release on PC.
The news was confirmed by Suehiro on Twitter after a fan asked for confirmation of a translation of an interview he gave to Famitsu.
In a separate tweet the developer said he noted” fan requests for the game to be made available on Steam. Seeing as fellow Microsoft-published title and Xbox One release Ori and the Blind Forest was indeed released on Steam, the chances look good.
Swery has previously said that the game will, understandably, never” come to PS4, although he was less categorical about the chances of a PC release.
D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die is an episodic title, parts one and two of which were released exclusively on Xbox One last December. The game had originally been designed to be used with Kinect but was prior to its release revised to also work with a controller.
There’s not yet been any confirmation of further episodes heading to Xbox One, although the news of a PC release is encouraging. Nor has it been confirmed how many episodes are currently pencilled in for PC.
