Devolver Digital has announced its upcoming online action game Absolver will receive a limited physical release in when it launches next month. This is in addition to its standard digital release.
Launching on PS4 and PC on August 29th, Devolver Digital will also be releasing 3,250 physical collector’s editions per platform courtesy of US online retailer Special Reserve Games. This will be available for 69.99 for those in UK, but since the game will be shipped from Special Reserve Games in the US, this won’t include any postage or shipping fees.
On PS4, players will get a numbered boxed release of the game, a 52-page art book, a sticker pack and a premium, fully-wearable Prospect mask with display stand from the game.
Those who buy the game on PC, meanwhile, will get all the physical goodies mentioned above, but their copy of the game will be come as a digital Steam key.All pre-orders will also come with the Uring Priest gear pack DLC, too.
The standard digital version of the game, meanwhile, will cost 22.99, regardless of whether you buy it on PC or PS4.
Developed by the Paris-based studio Slocap, which was founded by several ex-Ubisoft employees, Absolver is an online action RPG that features both PvP and PvE-style gameplay and a real-time battle system. To see the game in action, have a watch of the trailer below:
