Dragon Ball FighterZ tournament at Stamford Bridge to celebrate title’s launch

Bandai Namco will celebrate the launch of its upcoming fighting game with a public event at Chelsea’s stadium in West London. The date is set for the 26th of January and the event will run from 12pm till 10pm – with tournament check in starting at 4pm.

Attendees will also be able to play some of the most popular Dragon Ball Z video games on retro consoles, including: Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 to Dragon Ball Z Super Butoden plus loads more! Visitors can also get a taste for the latest installment in the Dragon Ball Z series with Dragon Ball FighterZ available to play.

It wouldn’t be much of a tournament if everyone was entirely fresh to the game. So thankfully there’s an Open Beta this weekend when anyone can download and play the game, in order to sharpen up their skills.

Anyone wanting to attend should register a ticket at https://dbfzlaunch.eventbrite.co.uk. Early registrants will get an exclusive t-shirt to celebrate the event.

Dragon Ball FighterZ will be launched on 26th of January on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Developed by Arc System Works and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, it looks to borrow some of the best mechanics of other top fighting games. Early reception has been very positive from both Dragon Ball fans and the fighting game community.
