The team behind Driveclub wants to keep on working together, following the news of the studio’s closure.

Sony announced yesterday that Evolution, well known for its racing games, would close–a year after the firm made 55 redundancies to the team.

MotorStorm and Driveclub senior community manager Jamie Brayshaw said on Twitter: We’re hoping to stay together and do something awesome. We’re figuring it all out at the moment.”

We’ve got some great options ahead of us, but I can’t say any more than that right now.” He then stated that him and the team were "taking a short break first to refresh and recharge, and then we’ll be back".

As noted by Videogamer, game director Paul Rustchynsky also said that the future was looking bright.”

Sony told the media yesterday that it wouldtry to reallocate people onto other projects”.

If appropriate opportunities are not possible within the company, we will assist staff in any way we can, including speaking with local employers and with other development companies.”
