Pokemon Go makes $200m in first month

Niantic’s Pokemon Go has completely blown away the month one performances of mobile’s former giants.

That’s according to estimates from Sensor Tower, which estimates that worldwide Pokemon Go revenues passed $200m in the app’s first month of availability.

To put that into perspective, that’s way ahead of Clash Royale. Supercell’s game was released in March and was at the time the fastest game to ever reach 10m downloads. In its first month it managed revenues in excess of $120m. Pokemon Go also crushed Candy Crush Soda Saga, raking in more than seven times its month one revenue.

Average daily use of Niantic’s app remains steady at 26 minutes, as per last week’s data, and is not yet showing signs of decline.
