Sony unveils officially licensed mini PS4 controllers

Sony has expanded its range of officially licensed third-party controllers via a partnership with accessories firms Hori, Nacon and @Play, which each designed miniature controllers for the PS4.

The new ranges will launch between November and December this year and the price points have not been revealed yet.

PS4 Revolution Pro Controller creator Nacon has designed a range of wired compact controllers (see picture below), launching in November in black, blue, grey, orange and red. In addition to these classic colours, Nacon will also release translucent versions in green, red and blue, with extra colour LEDs. The Nacon Wired Compact Controllers all feature core controls, a touch pad, stereo headset jack, vibration motors and a 3m long cable.

Elsewhere, @Play also created a range of four wired compact controllers (see below) in blue, dark grey, red and white. They will launch in December and, much like the Nacon range, also feature core controls, a touch pad, stereo headset jack, vibration motors and a 3m long cable.

Finally, Japanese firm Hori has created a range of three wired mini gamepads, which are “an ideal introductory PS4 controller for young players,” Sony said. The controllers have a retro-inspired design, easily accessible core controls and a 3m cable. These will launch on November 6th in black, blue and red (see below).
