Ubisoft won’t be showing any Nintendo games at E3

There will be at least five games from Ubisoft at E3 next month – but none of them will be for Nintendo platforms.

"We won’t be showing off any Nintendo games at E3 this year," a Ubisoft rep told Nintendo World Report.

Ubisoft has been one of Wii U’s most loyal third party supporters. Following its launch support for the machine with titles such as ZombiU, Assassin’s Creed III and Sports Connection it has since gone on to release a number of additional games such as Rabbids Land, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, (former Wii U exclusive) Rayman Legends, Assassin’s Creed IV and Child of Light.

However, it seems that aside from the delayed but apparently still in-development Watch Dogs, its support of Nintendo’s home console may – for the time being at least – be at an end.

And its last 3DS release was Rabbids Rumble back in November 2012.

In June last year Ubisoft’s EMEA boss Alain Corre told MCV that there is a place in the market for each console, and with the right games Wii U will find its public and sell in the long-term".

The Ubisoft titles confirmed to be on display at E3 are Assassin’s Creed: Unity, The Crew, Far Cry 4, The Division and Valiant Hearts.
