Zelda: Twilight Princess HD coming to Wii U in March

Twilight Princess is the next Zelda game to be remastered by Nintendo – and it will get a brand new Amiibo, too.

The 2006 GameCube/Wii title is the latest adventure of Link to be revamped, following Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask for 3DS, as well as Wind Waker on the Wii U.

A remaster had previously been rumoured following updates to the Nintendo eShop uncovered last month.

Revealing the game during its latest Nintendo Direct, Nintendo said that Twilight Princess’ graphics wouldn’t be the only point of improvement – its gameplay would similarly be tweaked to bring it into the present day.

Amiibo will also play a role, with a brand new Wolf Link figurine announced alongside the resurrected game.

The model will allow data to be transferred from Twilight Princess HD into the upcoming (and currently untitled) Zelda Wii U game.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will land on Wii U on March 4th, 2016.
