Duo depart Midway

Midway has confirmed that executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer Thomas E. Powell has resigned from the company to assume a role at an as-of-yet unnamed firm, whilst senior vice president of marketing and chief marketing office Steve Allison will leave the company on March 31st.

The publisher has appointed current finance vice president and assistant treasurer Ryan O’Desky to act as interim chief financial officer whilst it searches for someone to permanently take on Powell’s former role.

Other faces assuming expanded roles in the company include Mona Hamilton and Lee Jacobson, both of whom will widen their marketing responsibilities

President and chief executive officer David F. Zucker commented: Midway has a deep and experienced management team, and Mona, Lee and Ryan will be instrumental in moving Midway forward into 2008 and beyond. We thank both Tom and Steve for their contributions to Midway and we wish them continued success in their future endeavours.”
