GameSpot signs CVG vet

CVG associate editor Rob Crossley has left the gaming website.

He started working at CVG in May 2012, having previously been online editor for MCV’s sister title Develop.

I’m incredibly proud of the work CVG has produced during my tenure as associate editor and I will miss my colleagues dearly,” Crossley told MCV.As well as beginning an exciting new chapter in my career,I’m looking forward to seeing CVG continue to thrive. The people behind it deserve no less.”

Crossley has moved into a new role as UK news editor for GameSpot, where his main responsibility will be news output for GameSpot during UK hours.

Additional duties include features, opinion articles, event coverage and representing the publication at trade events.
