Last chance to lobby for Develop Awards

Industry professionals have until 5pm GMT today to recommend a nomination for the 2013 Develop Industry Excellence Awards.

UK and European game developers, tech companies and services firms wishing to put their work in the last 12 months forward for consideration should check out our detailedlobbying guide here.

But be quick! The deadline for all lobbying is 5pm GMT on Tuesday, April 16th.

The event takes place on the evening of July 10th at the Brighton Hilton Metropole, during the Develop Conference 2013.

20 awards are up for grabs, including favourites such as New IP, Independent Studio and Technical Innovation. The esteemed winner of our prestigious Development Legend award will also be announced ahead of the event.

NEW AWARDS

This year we have updated the awards for creative outsourcing, with specific emphasis on what the games audio, CG and other creative businesses have offered to specific projects released during the eligibility period.

CREATIVE CONTRIBUTION – AUDIO

Who’s Eligible?
This new award goes to a creative outsourcer for its work on an individual project in terms of the game’s audio. It acknowledges businesses or individual external contractors that have helped produce, manage or directly generate audio material (music, voice recording or VFX) for games released in the last 12 months.

CREATIVE CONTRIBUTION – VISUALS

Who’s Eligible?
This new award goes to a creative outsourcer for its work on an individual project in terms of the game’s visuals. It acknowledges businesses or individual external contractors that have helped produce, manage or directly generate visual material (CG, video or assets) for a game released in the last 12 months.
