The leader of the Melbourne IGDA chapter Giselle Rosman took away the first MCV Pacific Woman of the Year prize.
Rosman was among four winners at the event, presented by Xbox.
Other winners from the night included GoodGame’s Janet Carr, who picked up the Ambassador prize, while Widget’s Leena van Deventer won the Pioneer award.
Meanwhile, Ninja Pizza Girl developer Nicole Stark was given the Creative Inspiration award.
In April, MCV Pacific unveiled its Women in Games list, which featured the 75 most influential women across the Australian and New Zealand games industries.
Following this event, MCV Pacific has also announced the formation of a Women in Games Advisory Board, designed to keep the publication up to date with issues and events facing women within the Pacific games industry.
