IN PICTURES: Women of the Year Awards 2015

Yesterday’s inaugural Women of the Year Awards saw MCV’s Top 100 Women in Games celebrate three outstanding members of the games industry.

Taking place at the Ham Yard Hotel in London, the Women of the Year Awards handed out three key accolades for Ambassador, Pioneer and Creative Impact.

Margaret Pearson was awarded with the Pioneer accolade, while Julie Man and Gabrielle Kent received awards for Creative Impact and Ambassador respectively.

The event follows more than a month of MCV’s Women in Games coverage, including our naming of the Top 100 Women in Games, which highlighted just some of the exceptional women working in the industry.

The three award winners were selected by the MCV team after passionate lobbying from the trade – with more than 100 people writing in to put forward their top picks from the Top 100 Women in Gameslist.

Photos from the celebration are now on the MCV Facebook page – take a look below and tag your friends and colleagues.
