Sony PlayStation appoints LinOpinion as PR agency

Sony PlayStation has appointed LinOpinion as its new PR agency for India.

LinOpinion, a division of Lowe Lintas, takes over PR duties from Corporate Voice Weber Shandwick.

Sony PlayStation is a pioneer in video gaming and we are honoured to partner with them in India. PlayStation products like PS2, PS3, PS Vita and PSP are market leaders and have revolutionised the gaming segment,” said LinOpinion president Kavita Lakhani.

A large part of Sony's marketing and PR activities revolve around the PS2 and PSP platforms as well as the various India-themed games that Sony has commissioned specfically targetting the local market.

Sony has also recently increased its marketing focus on the PS3 as the hardware maker ceases PS2 production.
