The Darkman 2, Bowling Wizards take home FICCI BAF Award honours

Halo 4, The Darkman 2, Bowling Wizards, and Shield Attack picked up honours at the 2013 FICCI BAF Awards.

In the mobile games category, addictive bowling puzzler Bowling Wizards from Chennai-based Nextwave Multimedia came away with top honours, while The Darkman 2’s addictive shooting-apples-off-heads gameplay won it and developer 7Seas Entertainment the award in the browser game category.

Microsoft’s Halo 4 came out on top in the PC and console category, while Shield Attack, a casual mobile game played across your mobile device and desktop monitor, won the special jury award which spanned across all platforms.

No list of nominees has been revealed for either category.

It’s worth noting that only those games that were officially sent in for consideration by their developers, along with the requisite hardware device(s), were in the running for these awards.

The BAF (Best Animation Frames) Awards were part of FICCI Frames, an annual business conclave for the Indian entertainment industry held by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
