Atlus has announced Persona 4 Golden has shipped 700k copies since the title launched last year exclusively on PS Vita.
The Japanese publisher, which recently became a part of Sega, also shared that its controversial fantasy brawler Dragon’s Crown has shipped 800k across PS3 and Vita platforms since its launch this past July.
Both figures include downloaded copies through Sony’s PlayStation store. Atlus is currently running a sale in Japan for the titles through the new year, meaning the 1m mark looks to be in reach for both.
Not bad for a pair of niche games, especially with Persona 4 Golden available only for Sony’s current handheld – a platform that has generally struggled to gain traction with consumers.
