Want to show off your prowess on the pitch against former professional footballers? Koch Media has just the thing.
The distributor is organising a football match between the games industry and some of Chelsea FC’s past icons to raise money for GamesAid.
GamesAid vs Chelsea Old Boys will take place at the club’s Cobham training ground on Friday, March 23rd, with a suggested kick-off of 1.30pm.
There will be 18 former Chelsea players on the Old Boys team, including Clive Walker, Dave Beasant, John Bumstead, Neil Shipperley, Steve Finnieston and Tommy Langley.
Applicants can bid for one of the twelve places at www.gamesaidvschelsea.co.uk. The highest bids at midday on Friday, March 16th will form the squad. If a winning bid is not paid by Wednesday, March 21st, the place will be offered to the next highest.
Koch Media will supply GamesAid-branded kits to the team, which winning members can keep as a memento.
An additional shirt will be signed by the Chelsea Old Boys and auctioned at the GamesAid Golf & Spa Day on Thursday, July 12th.
A second GamesAid 11-a-side event will take place later in the year.
