Directors named for Angry Birds movie

Rovio has revealed that the upcoming 3D Angry Birdsmovie will be directed by animation veterans Fergal Reilly and Clay Kaytis.

Reilly and Kaytis will be making their directorial debuts on the film, but both have plenty of experience in animated movies.

Kaytis worked at Disney for 19 years, serving as animation supervisor on Tangled, supervising animator of the character of Rhino in Bolt, and he also created and oversaw the end credits sequence for Wreck-It Ralph.

Reilly worked at Sony Pictures Animation from 2003 as a storyboard artist, and in his time at the company has worked on films including Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Hotel Transylvania and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.
