Apple has named its editorial and commercial Games of the Year on iTunes.
The editorial picks are Vlambeer’s Ridiculous Fishing as its iPhone pick with Simogo’s experimental Device 6 and PopCap’s Plants vs Zombies 2 as the runners up.
In the iPad category Frogmind’s Badlands was named as Apple’s pick with the runners up being 2K Games’ XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Kevin Ng’s impossibly hard Impossible Road.
In the sales charts Candy Crush Saga was the top free title and Minecraft: Pocket Edition was the best-selling paid game.
