Valve has confirmed its annual Dota 2 eSports competition The International will return in 2015.
The event will be held once again stateside in Seattle, Washington and run from August 3rd-8th. Tickets aren’t on sale as of yet, but according to Valve relevant info is coming soon via the Dota 2 blog.
Dota 2 teams hoping for an invite for one of the 16 spots in the tournament will be notified on May 1st.
Last year’s International boasted a $10m prize pool, with the grand finals of the event picked up by sports mega-corporation ESPN to air on its online streaming service ESPN3.
