Batman: Arkham Knight PC re-release still running poorly for some

Four months after the game was unceremoniously yanked from Steam for repair, Batman: Arkham Knight is back. And it's still suffering problems.

The patch notes for the re-released title note ongoing issues such as hard drive paging issues for Windows 7 users requiring restarts, no SLI or Crossfire support and high memory requirements for Windows 10 users.

Player feedback points to other issues, too, including lingering stutter and assorted performance issues.

On the plus side, those who buy Arkham Knight before November 16th (including those who already own) will be gifted free copies of Asylum, City and Origins as an apology for the fiasco. These are expected to be delivered by December.

The re-release also arrives with all of the post-launch content that has so far been released for consoles, while January's Community Challenge Pack will arrive on PC a week earlier than on consoles.

Interestingly all user reviews left prior to this re-release have also now been flagged up as being ‘pre-release' reviews. This raises an interesting question for other titles who post-release updates significantly change key aspects.
