Dota 2 tournament ESL One Frankfurt 2015 attracted over 1m online viewers, with numbers sharply up year-on-year.
Peak concurrent viewing numbers hit 1,061,441, up 79.8 per cent from last year. Over 15,000 attended the event in person.

Previous event ESL’s Katowice also broke records back in April, when it attracted over 1m concurrent Twitch viewers.
ESL was acquired by European broadcaster MTG earlier this month.
