ESPN to broadcast EVO’s record breaking Street Fighter V tournament

The top eight of the Street Fighter V tournament at EVO will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

Earlier today it was revealed that over 5,000 people have signed up the for SFV competition at EVO, but once that has been whittled down to just eight the action will be shown on ESPN2 in the US. The broadcast will start at 10 p.m. ET on July 17th and can also be seen on WatchESPN.

The Street Fighter V World Championship will be one of the must-see competitions from the EVO finals,” said John Lasker, vice president of programming and acquisitions at ESPN Digital Media.
