No Man’s Sky studio considering Oculus Rift, Project Morpheus support

No Man's Sky may support virtually reality headsets, according to Hello Games founder Sean Murray.

Games Radarreports on an interview with Murray in the upcoming issue of Edge, in which he name-drops Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus VR headsets.

I don't know what I'm allowed to say. It's something we're thinking about. Morpheus, Oculus... There's nothing more cool and sci-fi than VR and a big procedural universe,” Murray stated.

I think that, for the people who want to just explore, and even for the space combat and things like that, it would be a good fit. Let's put it that way.”

That's far from a confirmation, but you get the feeling Hello Games understands the marriage would be an exciting prospect for its fans. No Man's Sky is currently in development for Windows PC and PlayStation 4.
