Overwatch shoots straight to No.1, is Blizzard’s fastest selling console title

Blizzard's new IP Overwatch debuts at the top spot in the UK.

The shooter is the publisher's fastest-selling console game to yet. 47 per cent of physical sales were for PlayStation 4; 36 per cent for Xbox and a sizeable 18 per cent of sales were for PC.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End drops to second place with a 37 per cent sales dip. This follows the PS4-exclusive spending two weeks at the top of the charts.

Sony's action adventure title comes in ahead of Doom, which falls from second place to third with a 41 per cent sales decline. And Homefront: The Revolution drops one place to No.4 in its second week with sales declining a mere 41 per cent.

Half term retail offers helped a number of titles. Call of Duty: Black Ops III saw a 26 per cent sales increase, while sales of Ratchet & Clank rose 114 per cent over the week thanks to hardware bundles. This saw the title rise from No.12 to No.6.

Further down the charts, FIFA 16 saw a 91 per cent sales rise, while The Division rose 42 per cent.
