Rodeo Games disbands after poor sales of Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch

The Guildford-based studio behind Warhammer strategy titles Quest and Deathwatch has closed after its latest title failed to take off.

Despite warm review scores for Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch, the game struggled to find an audience, resulting in the death of the mobile developer.

I and the majority of the team left four months ago, so [as far as I know] there's no one to offer support or make content,” former Rodeon staffer Matthewpostedon the Touch Arcade forums. Like most indie developers, you're only as good as your last game, and even though Deathwatch was Rodeo's highest metric game, it didn't make enough so we had to move on.”
