Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II receives huge patch ten years after launch

Ten years after it first came out, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords has benefitted from a significant patch.

The update adds support for both Mac and Linux in addition to a wealth of new features.

37 achievements can now be earned, the game now allows for Steam Cloud saves, Steam Workshop support, as well as the use of PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 controllers.

In addition, Knights of the Old Republic II now features native widescreen resolution support and allows for resolutions of up to 4K and 5K.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords was developed by Obsidian Entertainment, and published by LucasArts. It was released in 2005, and followed up BioWare's original and hugely popular Knights of the Old Republic game.
