Team Liquid trying out zews as new CS:GO coach

Team Liquid has announced that Wilton "zews" Prado is trying out as the coach for the organisations CS:GO team.

This past weekend he acted as the coach when the team competed at the Northern Arena 2016 Montreal competition. They didn’t have the best performance, going out of the group stage after losing to both Heroic and G2, although they did dominate Complexity.

zews will also be the team’s coach for IEM Oakland, which takes place this weekend. The stacked competition sees Liquid placed in group A with the likes of NaVi, G2 and Astralis. With the winner walking away with $125,000 they certainly will be hoping that zews can bring them some success.

There is no news on if zews will continue as coach past these two events.

Prior to joining up with Liquid zews was playing on the Immortals roster, and before that was the coach for the massively successful two time world champions SK Gaming.

The move to Liquid comes a few weeks after the organisation put out an open job posting for a CS:GO coach. The position was advertised to have an annual salary of around $125,000.
