Polish developer and publisher Techland has announced the creation of a new digital distribution service, now available in 144 countries.

Called Gemly, it launched yesterday and offers exclusive content for Techland's own creations such as Dying Light and titles it brought to market via its publishing arm, such as Torment: Tides of Numenera.

There's also a selection of PC games from other companies such as fellow Polish developer CD Projekt Red or publishers Warner Bros and Sega. You can take a look Gemly's library of games here.

Techland also took this opportunity to release new free content for Dying Light, with a new update dubbed Content Drop #0 - Reinforcements (see the trailer below). The studio announced earlier this week that the title still has 500,000 weekly active players.

Techland's CEO Pawel Marchewka commented: "We have created Gemly as part of our wish to be closer to our fans and unite the whole Techland community in one place. At the same time, we want to keep our fans engaged and entertained — with Dying Light's Content Drop #0 we're paving the way for incredible experiences, offering new challenges and mysteries for our fans."
