The Farm 51 announces next-gen shooter Get Even

Painkiller and Deadfall Adventures dev confirms new FPS for 2015.

Polish studio, The Farm 51, has revealed Get Even will launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The shooter is said to mix elements of the thriller and horror genre with exploration and will fuse single-player and multiplayer together.

"When players embark on a single-player mission, others on the network can join the quest as enemies, so players never know whether their opponents are human or CPU-based," reads the studio’s statement.

"This suspense further heightens the player’s feeling of a threat."

The studio also says Get Even is the first title to use real-world scanning to create the game’s realistic environments.

"We believe that there is still a ton of content and design creativity that has yet to be explored in first-person genre, as well as an audience beyond the warfare player—those are the people we are going for with Get Even," said Wojtek Pazdur, CEO of The Farm 51.

As an independent developer, it would be foolish to go head-to-head with the larger companies and create a ‘me too’ knock-off, and frankly we wouldn’t be interested in doing it.
