Activision’s latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game disappears from digital stores

Activision and Platinum Games’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan has disappeared from digital storefronts.

As reported by Eurogamer, the title is no longer available to purchase from PlayStation Network, Xbox Games Store or Steam. Mutants in Manhattan launched in May 2016 after a January reveal.

The site also notes that the publisher’s two The Amazing Spider-Man titles have also gone missing from digital stores.

This isn’t the first time this has happened with Activision’s super hero licenses. In fact, almost three years ago to the day, the publisher’s Deadpool title – for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC – disappeared from PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Steam.

That title reappeared on Steam in July 2015, before a PS4 and Xbox One SKU launched the following November.

MCV has reached out to Activision for comment.
