Watch Dogs 2 genitalia snaps lead to player ban and Ubisoft patch

There’s no reason why PEGI 18 rated Watch Dogs 2 shouldn’t include some genitals here and there, we suppose, but the news did admittedly take us by surprise.

Among the many wonders to be found in Ubisoft’s recently released action title are in fact some characters models sporting fully visible bits and bobs, of both male and female varieties.

What isn’t a surprise is that upon discovering said delights, some players took the chance to take a snap and then share the spoils online.

Amazingly, one gamer (who said that he had accidentally blew up a few women in a back alley with a gas pipe” only to discover that she was fully on display when left dead on the sidewalk) was actually temporarily banned for this on PSN, Kotaku reports.

Regardless of how grim snapping the digital nether regions of the recently passed undoubtedly is, being banned for photographing something you found in the game you bought does seem a little unfair.

Ubisoft has now said that it’s simply going to do away with the digital privates completely to avoid further problems.

While Watch Dogs 2 is a mature-rated game, we apologize and will update this NPC model to make it more consistent with other NPC models in the game in a patch to be released this week,” it said.

There’s no talk yet of patching out the willies, of which there seem to be a few.
