Bethesda has widened the reach of its official online merchandise store with the launch of a new store for Europe. Simply entitled the Bethesda Store Europe, the new online portal offers a wide range of licensed merchandise from across its portfolio of games, including Doom, Fallout, Dishonored, The Elder Scrolls, Wolfenstein, The Evil Within and Quake to name just a few.
Goods are payable in both Euros and GBP, and Bethesda says it will ship to all European territories as well as worldwide. There's also an opening offer of 25 per cent off shipping and a free Skyrim t-shirt if you spend more than €25, and fans can sign up for newsletters highlighting the latest products and offers.
Much like its US counterpart, the store lets you shop by game or the type of merchandise you want, whether it's apparel, collectibles, accessories, art or other forms of media such as books, board games and soundtracks. The European store isn't just selling exactly the same stuff as the US version, however, as both stores have different catalogues. Some items, such as the 304 Daedric Armour Skyrim statue, are also out of stock on the US store but available on the European one.
Bethesda first launched its online store back in 2013, where it promised to add new items every month. Since then, however, merchandise has only ever been priced in USD, meaning hefty shipping and handling fees for those buying from outside the US.
With the launch of the Bethesda Store Europe, however, fans of the publisher's back catalogue should finally be able to get all the Bethesda-related merchandise they want without paying over the odds for it.
Bethesda also recently joined forces with Loot Cratelast week to provide bi-monthly merchandise boxes based around the Fallout franchise. These boxes, which are delivered to paying subscribers, will feature all manner of Vault Tec-themed paraphernalia, including 4-6 exclusively licensed items as well as a collectible figurine from the Fallout series.
