Boxed release confirmed for Life Is Strange

Square Enix has announced a 2016 retail release for former digital-exclusive Life Is Strange.

This Limited Edition version will include all five episodes and be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC across all PAL territories. Also in the box is a 32-page art book, the soundtrack and director’s commentary.

Along with the previously available English and French subtitles, this version will also include subs in German, Italian, both Castilian and Mexican Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.

The response to Life is Strange really has blown us away,” Dontnod producer Luc Baghadoust said. To be able to share that experience with our fans in a traditional boxed format is something we’re really excited about and the decision to include the extra items for the Limited Edition is a direct response to fan requests.”

Life Is Strange Limited Edition will be released on January 22nd.

The first episode of Life Is Strange was released in January of this year and the final, fifth episode in October. It is Dontnod’s second game after 2013’s Remember Me. The studio is currently working on Vampyr and is rumoured to be planning a sequel to Life is Strange.
