Crytek’s Kinect action game, Ryse, is now a launch title for the new Xbox, as is a new Forza game with super life-like” visuals, a new report has suggested.
Rumours of Ryse being moved to next-gen have been doing the rounds for a while, although Crytek has remained tight-lipped on the matter, only saying that it was continuing to work on it with Microsoft.
Ryse is now set to make use of Kinect’s improved tracking system, and will also reportedly feature multiplayer, sources have told The Verge.
According to the report, Ryse has now been elevated to the status of major Xbox franchises like Gears of War and Halo.
Another one of the four major Xbox launch titles is reportedly a new Forza game with super life-like" graphics. We’re guessing this is what Turn 10 has been working on while Playground Studios released Forza Horizon.
The other two major launch titles aren’t named, but one is reportedly a zombie game, while the other is a Pixar-ish Kinect family game that will scan the player’s body to create a virtual character in the game.
Microsoft is yet to utter a word about its new Xbox, but if rumours are to be believed, they will do that on 21st May.
