Nintendo has announced three more indie titles that will be launching on the Switch's digital eShop on March 3rd, and that it will be home to over 60 'Nindie' titles by the end of this year.
Yacht Club Games' Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment and Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and Shin'en's racing title Fast RMX will be the first three Nindie games to launch on the Switch's eShop, but they will also be joined by Square Enix's I am Setsuna and Tomorrow Corporation's World of Goo, Little Inferno and Human Resource Machine.
The Virtual Console, however, will not be present at launch, but Nintendo said it will confirm its arrival at a later date.
Users don't need to worry about spending any existing eShop credit on their Wii U or 3DS, either, as those who already have funds in their accounts on these consoles will be able to access them from a shared wallet that works on Switch as well. All they need to do is link their Nintendo Network ID with their Nintendo Account, and then link their Nintendo Account with their Switch.
A news feature will also be available to notify players about new additions to the eShop, as well as information on upcoming games and other updates from Nintendo.
Switch owners will need to update their consoles before they can access the eShop on Day One, but Nintendo says it's "designed to install quickly" in the background, so it shouldn't disrupt gamers' play time as they tuck into their new console.
Nintendo Switch users will also be able to purchase games and download them directly onto their console via Wi-Fi from Nintendo's UK website once they've visited the eShop for the first time.
More Nindie games are being announced next week on Tuesday February 28th at 5.30pm, so stay tuned to Nintendo's social media channels to see what else is on the horizon.
