Overwatch re-enters UK charts at No.2, Injustice 2 keeps No.1 spot

Hot off the back of the digital release of its Game of the Year edition, Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch climbed 16 places in the UK charts last week, claiming the No.2 spot after a impressive 281 per cent rise in sales week-on-week.

It still wasn’t enough to dislodge Injustice 2, however, which held fast at No.1 for the second week running despite a 52 per cent fall in sales.

FIFA 17 also climbed three spots to No.4 after a 45 per cent rise in sales, but even more impressive was Dishonored 2, which, after huge discounting, re-entered the charts at No.8 after a meteoric 1,267 per cent rise in sales week-on-week.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild also re-entered the Top Ten after a 53 per cent rise in sales, and Switch’s two new entries, Ultra Street Fighter II and Disgaea 5 Complete both made it into the Top 40. The former debuted at No.10, while Disgaea 5 entered the charts at No.36. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, meanwhile, held its spot at No.6 after a slight 16 per cent bump week-on-week.

Tequila Works’ Rime also made it into the Top 40, debuting at No.27. Sony’s Farpoint, on the other hand, dropped 17 spots after a 79 per cent decline in sales week-on-week.
