PS4: Sony reveals more PAL region release dates, still no India details

Sony has announced the PlayStation 4 launch dates for more countries in the PAL region, including the Middle East, but there’s still no word on an Indian release date.

As part of the PlayStation 4 FAQ on the PlayStation Blog, Sony has listed the release dates for various countries in the PAL region.

Sony’s general manager for India and the Middle East had told MCV that it was launching the PS4 only in the UAE on 13th December, but according to the FAQ, that date now also applies to other regions in the Middle East, such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.

The list also includes PAL countries like Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, where the console will launch in 2014.

We’ve been in constant touch with Sony India in connection with a PS4 release date for India, but the company has so far given no indication as to when the console will launch or when it plans to make its launch announcement.
