Retail: Are you ready for the busiest five weeks of the year?

If you work in games retail, you might want to take a deep breath before looking at the release schedule for the next month.

From next week onwards, there are multiple major launches every few days for the next five weeks.

And after that, there’s the onslaught of Black Friday, quickly followed by the arrival of Rainbow Six: Siege, Just Cause 3 and Xenoblade Chronicles X in early December.

Next Friday, October 23rd, alone marks the release of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Guitar Hero Live and The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes.

Less than five days later, on October 27th, Halo 5: Guardians arrives.

And a mere three days after that, October 30th, there’s the giant releases of Minecraft: Story Mode on disc and wrestling sports game WWE 2K16.

November kicks off with the release of Need for Speed on the 5th, followed the very next day by Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

On November 10th, the long-anticipated Fallout 4 hits shelves, while equally awaited StarCraft II expansion Legacy of the Void launches on PC the very same day.

At the end of that week, on November 13th, it’s time for Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Just six days later, on November 19th – which will seem like a long breather by then – Assassin’s Creed Syndicate comes to PC and will be joined by the AT-AT-sized launch of Star Wars Battlefront.

The day afterwards, Nintendo has a triple threat in Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival and a fresh new Style Boutique game. Meanwhile, Telltale’s Game of Thones series will come to retail.
