Anderson’s role on Green Man Gaming’s finance team combines two of her passions – games and numbers.
It’s a love affair that began in her early years, as she split studying to be an account with working as a sales assistant in the video game store Future Zone on Saturdays.
After qualifying as an accountant, Anderson joined Eidos as the firm’s internal auditor, getting to visit studios and offices around the world to observe processes.
She later moved to Take Two, before heading back to Eidos, consolidating their results, preparing statutory accounts and becoming part of the transition of Eidos to the Square Enix Group.
Three years ago Anderson made her most recent jump, landing as financial controller for Green Man Gaming when the company was only 20 people strong.
Now SVP of finance, she looks forwards to the next stage of the company’s growth.
Of course, one of the moments Anderson is most proud of also involves numbers – her 72,900 Gamerscore.
