Registration for the key industry event extends to March 19

Bigger early-bird deal for Gamebased Learning

The upcoming Game Based Learning event in London has a new ticket discount offer for those interested in attending the key event.

Early bird registration now stretches to Friday 19 March, and the discount on the table has risen to 30 per cent off door prices.

The new offer has been made possible after event organisers agreed a further promotion deal with industry body Becta.

Game Based Learning takes place this month in London and strives to bring together games industry and education sector leaders, designers, innovators, policy makers, publishers and practitioners to discuss key issues, network, and explore new technologies.

Over 400 attendees are expected to attend, where speakers including Ed Vaizey, Shadow Minister for Culture and the Creative Industries, and LittleBigPlanet creators Siobhan Reddy and Kareem Ettouney will lead sessions.

Academic and game development veteran Seamus Blackley is to provide a closing keynote for the conference.

Game Based Learning 2010 takes place in London’s The Brewery venue, and runs from March 29th to 30th.
