Bradford-based UK video games firm Link Distribution has agreed a deal to acquire London rival A Game Distribution.
A Game’s London office, which was founded in 2010, will continue to operate and its staff will remain in place. Link opened a brand new facility in Bradford earlier this year, doubling its staff count in the process.
"The A Game team boasts huge experience and is passionate about the same thing we are — growth in a market once dominated by an exclusive distribution model and providing better value for money and choice to the independent sector,” Link Distribution director David Donaldson stated.
"By combining the teams we can now offer a broader range of services to our newly expanded customer base".
A Game’s operation director Adam Harris added: Despite only just completing our first financial year, we’ve built a solid and dependable reputation in the industry and one that we feel can only multiply given the financial support accessible through our new ownership.
Our businesses are complimentary rather than competitive and together we look forward to achieving a record Q4 under the stewardship of David and his team.”
A Game’s co-founder and sales director Anna Salach added: "Link Distribution is the perfect fit for us. They are one of the fastest growing UK based distribution companies and offer us a stable platform to build and expand our dedicated customer base."
