With a marketing background which included a spell at leading retailer Special Reserve, Neil Long boasts a strong working knowledge of the games channel. During this time, he also edited the company's bi-monthly consumer magazine.

Long joined the MCV editorial team in 2005, immediately increasing its output and efficiency, whilst becoming a highly popular figure with the trade.
