Thursday, 24th September - Sunday, 26th September, 2009 - Asia's most recognised industry event returns, offering two days of business-focused sessions followed by a weekend-long consumer show
Despite the sagging global economy, it is not only games market that is thriving today, but also the entire computer entertainment market. From this strong foundation, Tokyo Game Show 2009 aims to provide people all over the world with a wide variety of the very latest information on games while further expanding the market both domestically and internationally.
In the sincere hope that games will cheer up and re-energized the world, “Game, it’s so energetic!” has been chosen as this year’s concept.
This year’s show will also focus on these three objectives:
1. To act as a hub for up-to-the-minute information
2. To enhance the business side of the event and further internationalize it in terms of media appeal, visitors and exhibitors
3. To cater more to new and light game users.
To meet these objectives, the organisers are now steadily making preparations. They include the installment of a new “Advanced Mobile & PC Area,” and the enhancement of press release distribution services in Europe.
