Former Liverpool FC MD joins We R Interactive

We R Interactive, a social gaming specialist and publisher of football title I Am Playr, has announced the appointment of former Liverpool Football Club MD Christian Purslow as its new non-executive independent director.

The move follows Purslow’s personal investment in the company, which it says is his first since leaving Anfield in October last year following the club’s acquisition by John Henry’s FSG.

Having over the last year watched the management of We R interactive meet all their business objectives stated at launch, deliver on everything they promised and sharing their vision of where they want to take the company, We R Interactive ticked all the right boxes for me initially as an investment,” Purslow stated.

The company has already recruited the services for former Arsenal full back and BBC pundit Lee Dixon to contribute script and storyline ideas” for the game.
