2008 Review – Part Four
With 2008 drawing to a close, MCV looks back at the news that defined the last 12 months in the games industry. In Q4 we saw the sad demise of Woolworths and EUK, the failure of EA’s Take 2 bid, improving sales for PS3, fear on the High street, a shift of power in the football genre, a race row involving LittleBigPlanet, mass job losses, the arrival of PS3 Home and ongoing success for the DS.
