3DS firmware update due out this week

A firmware update for the Nintendo 3DS is scheduled to arrive in the middle of the week.

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced the news during the Nintendo Direct conference yesterday in Japan.

The update comes about due to lack of organization for the device. Users were voicing complaints specifically about items cluttering the Home screen, with a lack of functions/options to at least offer up some order in the department.

With the new update owners will be able to create folders, name them, and store up to 60 items within each one. It arrives this Wednesday, April 25th.
