3DS launch price roundup

Retailers are advertising the 3DS for as low as 175 in time for the handheld’s launch at midnight tonight.

Tesco dropped the price to 175 earlier today, following price cuts to 187 from Morrisons and Amazon.co.uk last week.

Amazon originally listed the device at 219.99 in January, with GAME and HMV previously pricing it at 229.99.

The handheld is available in black or blue and comes with a stylus, 2GB SD memory card and charger. HMV is hosting the official launch tonight as a variety of retailers across the UK prepare to open their doors at midnight.
