Mirroring the incident that saw a staff writer inflict pain upon a colleague when Nintendo’s Wii first arrived at the Intent office, American pop star Christina Aguilera has reportedly suffered an injury whilst playing popular multiplayer romp Wii Sports.
GameDaily reports that a source stated: Christina loves her Wii as a fun way to do a little work out. Now she’s a mother, it’s perfect for her.
"She and Joel were in the middle of a particularly heated game of tennis, and Christina came off a little worse for wear in a run-in with a table lamp – she has a bruised hand but is more upset that she lost the game”.
Bad news for Christina – but good publicity for Wii Sports ahead of the release of sequel Wii Sports Resort next Friday (July 23rd).
