Andrew Lloyd Webber game heading to Wii

Yes, you read that correctly: a video game dedicated to the works of famous musical director Andrew Lloyd Webber is on its way.

Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals: Sing & Dance will be released exclusively for Wii on September 14th, and will feature tunes from throughout Webber’s 45-year-long career.

It will be published by Tubby Games, the firm behind last year’s Now That’s What I Call Music: Dance and Sing, and distributed by Koch Media.

32 classic hits from 13 musicals are promised, including ‘Don’t Cry For Me Argentina’ from Evita, ‘Superstar’ from Jesus Christ Superstar and The Phantom of the Opera’s ‘All I Ask Of You’.

Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals will even include performances from the artists from the acclaimed West End shows, including Elaine Paige, Michael Crawford, Boyzone, Donny Osmond, David Essex and Sarah Brightman.

"This is a fabulous signing for us," said Paul Nicholls, Koch Media’s sales and marketing director.

"Andrew Lloyd Webber and his creations are a British institution that have been enjoyed by generations across the world. The chance to bring this product to market for Wii is both an honour and hugely exciting for Koch."
